Haldia Institute of Management is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology) and is situated at R&D Building, ICARE Complex.The institute was established in 2004 keeping in mind the growing need of health care managers and administrators. The Institute is running successfully over a decade and has been able to place students in numerous hospitals in West Bengal as well as in different parts of India. The strength of our academic expertise together with the range of management disciplines we cover provides a wealth of opportunities to students who study here. Our institute earnestly strives to achieve academic excellence and places great emphasis on inclusion, equality, integrity, sustainability and professionalism.

About the Campus: The Haldia Institute of Management is situated in the port-city of Haldia – famous for its petrochemical businesses – in the district of Purba Medinipur in West Bengal. It is a single-site campus set in a vibrant intellectual environment and is well-connected by both road and railway. The institute, located in the ICARE complex, is a close-knit and vibrant community with a rich cultural and social life. It has been running successfully over a decade and has been able to successfully place students in numerous reputed organizations across India.
